Well there was the steam sale going on so I just went ahead and bought both :D ![]() Btw, trying to sell all your crap and trying to find good equipment to buy is also a big part of Atom, though handled a bit differently. In general the game does take some getting used to before you feel comfortable in it, but that's true of a lot of RPGs. Dealing with the inventory you carry and inventory you store elsewhere and trying to sell stuff to merchants and trying to find stuff to buy for crafting is still a pain, I agree with that. Also you can change the animation speed of walking if you're not encumbered, which isn't that slow to start with. I think you're now usually told where the character you need to speak to is located. To be fair, I'm not sure when the game was reviewed so if they've made some good updates they may perhaps not have been taken into account. This adds up to endless plodding from one end of an empty screen to another, even more slowly if you’re stealthed, and if you’re not, you’ll get killed before long and have to do it all over again anyway. You're saying there isn't (which is what I'm hoping for of course), but I kept reading reviews saying that you need to walk from one place to another a lot, and then you need to remember who you had to speak to etc. This is the main point of why I was on the fence. ![]()
